What is a stroke?
When the blood flow to a portion of the brain is cut off, a stroke results. The size and location of the damaged area affect the symptoms and indicators of a stroke.
The signs and symptoms of a stroke vanish completely in a "transient ischemic attack (TIA)" within 24 hours.
